Bronx Week is back! This is the time of year when government, business, and community come together to celebrate the best of the borough during an 11-day borough-wide festival. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of The Bronx Walk of Fame as we honor the Class of 2017.

Mott Haven Bar and Grill is a flexitarian’s dream! Want a meatless meal? Try their delicious Black Bean Quinoa Burger. Feeling carnivorous? Go for the Filet Mignon & Spinach Salad. And, with summer approaching, it will be worth the 7 min walk from 3rd Avenue and East 138th Street in the Bronx to try their wide variety of mojitos.
From hip hop to salsa to doo wop to rock & roll to Russian acrobatics to Chinese dances to musicals, big bands and big names–Lehman Center for the Performing Arts has a great lineup! Coming this Saturday, straight from Cuba: Orquesta Aragon & Orquesta Broadway. And on May 20th: Prince aficionados can’t miss The Purple Xperience!

Opened in 1927, Casa Amadeo is the go-to place for Latin music aficionados. Originally owned by famous Puerto Rican Composer Rafael Hernandez, this shop still sells vinyl albums. The current proprietor, Miguel Amadeo, is also a composer who has written for some of the salsa legends, many of whom came together to jam in his store.
